This blog is mine so I can even rant in it if I want.

I just hate it how they can't get a solid 3G network done around here. There are GAPS between them, causing disconnections and netw0rk time outs when using the internet on phone.
Today even, I was riding the tram. I started up Reset Generation and logged in. It was all fast and no problems. Then after 3 minutes when I joined a game. BAM! "Connection to game lost, do you want to return to the online menu?"
I just wanted to grab a shotgun and blow heads off. Disconnected, in Helsinki, for only a few seconds in my operator area, againts a bunch of rookie ranked players. GRRRRRRRRRRRR!!!!!
Fucking operators. "We have the broadest 3G network in the country!" Yeah, thats really nice you have them scattered so that if I use an internet service that requires constant connection I get disconnections and time outs.
I tried other games too, same problem, except they tell me that the opponent DC'ed, which is most likely false, knowing the gaps in the network now. Even web browsing had the quite frequnet "connection time out" when loading a simple web page.
FUCKING OPERATORS! Get your towers closer to each other to keep up a solid 3G network and not a 3G - nothing for ½ second - Edge - GPRS - weak 3G - nothing -3G......
There are areas where there is a solid 3G for several inutes, but most of the time, if you use any sort of transportaition other than WALKING, you will get a disconnection if you play a game, and slower loading with web browsing. Even in the BUS! Yes, I got a connection time out, which counts as DC in RG, in a BUS! And some public WLAN wouldnt help cos that means I cant move.
Now, I have been able still to play agmes like SRE in the bus, and no DC. But RG disconnects you very easily, as it requires 100% constant connection. The game is great, but would it have killed Redlynx to give us 30 seconds to reconnect? SRE gives 60 if the opponent, or you, get a bad signal all of a sudden. Often my phone reconnects within 10 seconds. And would it kill the network operaotrs like Elisa to upgrade their 3G network or something? I cant stand the connection gaps! 3G, nothing, edge, weak 3G, half 3G, nothing, GPRS.
Okay, so it doesnt happen like every second, but in the Metro (like an "L train" that america has, a bit like an above ground subway) you get lots of them, especially between some stations! I understand a weak signal underground, but ABOVE GROUND AND BATHING IN SUNLIGHT WITH NOTHING THAT CAN POSSIBLY CAUSE AN ERROR!!!

If you just make phone calls and send SMS and browse regular WAP sites you might not notice, but if you load up bigger pages or use data heavy applications, you will notice frequent time outs.
Someone should do something! Operaotrs should upgrade their networks so there are no dead zones. To that they might say "there are none," reffering to the 1 bar GPRS network, which causes a time out in most data heavy apps if they suddenly go from full signal 3G to 1bar weak signal slow fucking ass GPRS!
Also, N-Gage should give you a chance to reconnect before just saying "you dc'ed, you lose. n00b."
And finally, Nokia should make firmware updates that the phones can swap the connections between network towers faster. Just to be safe. Try uploading a picture you took when it freezes at 73% cos you were in the metro and get an time out.

Also, a WLAN netowrk covering the whole country would only have the similar problem, with the signal going to zero at times, and you really cant just swap between WLAN networks like the phone does automatically between phone network towers, and at best keep the connection in full speed and no delays.

But anyways, I can play outside in public transport, or in a cafe or any place wheres there network and everythings fine, but what I just hate is the fact that if you move around in a metro or a bus or anything that goes far enough, you get a time out.
Don't get me wrong now, I have beaten people silly in RG while outdoors, but those are at times when the networks are steady. Heck, I was able to play RG on a bus ride from Helsinki to Espoo no problem! But NOT in a TRAM WITHIN Helsinki? What the fuck???

"Finlands broadest 3G network." So what? It's not like I'm going to go to Lapland any time soon! Get the network fixed for Helsinki and not just scatter it around, thinking people don't need no solid connection! And other cities too! I bet there are people cursing this same subject in Oulu and Turku and every other place.
